I am born and raised in one of the most beautiful islands of the Caribbean, Puerto Rico. I come from a big family where each side of my parents come together to have a great time surrounded by the most delicious and delicacies of our gastronomy. I have the advantage to have both sides (mom and dad) to have a love for cooking. The best part is that most of the women from my mother side were dedicated to serve the community with food too. Each of them has their own taste of cooking and their authenticity. My authenticity is to prepare the most typical dish in a most healthy way and allowing God to use me as the vessel I am meant to be. Although sometimes I feel to cheat in preparing the most delicious appetizer that anyone can find from my culture in every corner of the island, I try my best to make it in a healthy way to have its texture and great flavor. Even our desserts are the best and adding my touch to every meal, dessert, & appetizer you can feel the difference without losing its great flavor.
